Immersive Design Thinking Workshop

Design thinking is often called human-centered design.  Applying the concepts and tools of design thinking help innovation professionals create user-centric solutions that can be effectively implemented, leading to higher market success rates of new products and services.  Design thinking teaches you to dig deeper, ask more probing questions, and explore beyond the obvious to understand the challenges of each problem.  Important design thinking tools and techniques include customer empathy, creative ideation, rapid prototyping, and user testing.

This hands-on (virtual) workshop details process steps and gives you plenty of time to practice the tools.  With real examples and participant practice, you will be ready to rapidly address product development for highest customer satisfaction and fastest time-to-market while building a portfolio of techniques to solve any challenging problem.

The workshop covers the following topics:

1. Learn the fundamentals of Design Thinking
2. Apply Design Thinking model to all innovation projects
3. Gain practical tools empathetic design for customers and end-users
4. Harness the power of rapid prototyping tools for innovation
5. Develop and grow leadership skills and innovation competencies

Courseware includes notes, tools & templates, hands-on practice exercises, and a pre-publication copy of the Innovation Success Journal.  The workshop is highly interactive so you can immediately implement the Design Thinking processes, tools, and techniques for innovation success!  You will have access to an exclusive discussion forum with like-minded Design Thinkers extending past the workshop so you can continue learning!

Where and When

The Intensive Design Thinking Workshop is held in two sessions so you can apply what you learn.  We will meet Monday, 17 May 2021 and Tuesday, 18 May 2021 from 9 to 11 am CDT (10 am to 12 pm EDT and 8 to 10 am MDT).
