FAQs

How do I pay for a course?

You can use any credit card or your own PayPal account to purchase a course.  Your invoice will show payment to “GlobalNPSolutions, LLC”, our parent company.  Professional development courses typically have access within 24 hours of verified payment.

How do I navigate a PDH course?

PDH courses are composed of lessons which are subdivided into topics.  Progress bars at the top of the screen allow you to see how much of the course is completed and how much you have left to study.

As you complete the information within each topic, you will see a “Mark Complete” button at the bottom of the screen.  In order to earn your PDH certificate, each topic must be marked complete before you move on to the next topic.

When you complete all the topics within a lesson, you will see a “Mark Complete” button that you should click to move on to the next lesson.  Upon completion of all topics and lessons, you will be able to download and print your completion certificate.

Why is there a timer on lessons/topics in PDH courses?

In order to verify the integrity of continuing education credits, credentialing bodies (like PDMA, PMI, and ASEM) must be able to validate the course materials.  Contact time for each course is maintained through the delivery of timed lessons and topics.

You may spend more time on each lesson or topic; the timer indicates a minimum time to validate the course contact time for Professional Development Hours (PDH).  Once you complete a lesson or topic, however, you are free to review the material in any order or with any length of study.

How can I reprint my completion certificate for a PDH course?

Click on My Account in the upper right to access a list of all courses in which you are enrolled.  To reprint a course completion certificate, click on the twisty for the course and then click on the paper icon next to your completed quiz.

What is the cancellation policy?

Classroom courses require a minimum attendance of three (3) people.  Registration will close two (2) weeks prior to course start date.  If the minimum attendance is not met, students will be automatically transferred to the next face-to-face class or facilitated online class.  Alternatively, students may choose the full online self-study course instead.  It is recommended to take advantage of multiple enrollees from the same company in order to meet the minimum attendance requirement.  Discounts of up to 50% are offered for multiple attendees from the same company.

Who do I contact for more info?

Team Culture and Hybrid NPD Processes

Culture is one of those words that we all know what it means, yet we struggle to identify and name it.  Team and organizational cultures are best characterized from those within the group.  They might describe the culture as open and risk-tolerant or as hierarchical and lacking trust.  New product development (NPD) is a systematic… Read More >

Why Product Development is Like a Bank Loan

Loans among friends can quickly impact their friendship in a negative way.  I have learned that loaning a book to a friend really means giving them the book.  Not intentionally, people lose or damage the items they have borrowed so they cannot return them.  (Or are embarrassed to admit it.) My dad was a CPA,… Read More >

The Culture of NPD Processes

We all know that culture influences business outcomes more than any other variable.  Great strategies must be translated into effective business plans and implemented at the operational level.  Yet, if there is a breakdown in communication as a result of cultural conflict, a great business strategy can fail mightily. Having an open, accepting cultures paramount… Read More >
